Photographing Snowflakes

Astrophotography

I take pictures of the night sky to show the Milky Way galactic center, various constellations and occasionally a shooting star!

Liquid Hourglass

My coworkers and I made a liquid hourglass that uses viscosity and surface tension properties of water and oil to keep time while we're hard at work in the laboratory. We mainly use it as a timer for breaks.

Through the Telescope

I like to observe deep sky objects like Jupiter and Saturn through my telescope. Next on my list for viewing: the Moon, the Sun (with protection of course), Orion Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy.
